swepro presents its most advanced and intelligent antistatic bar, ZEUS 4.0. The ZEUS 4.0 antistatic bar has a very high needle density that allows for rapid, intensive, and precise discharge of electrostatic charge from surfaces. The discharge with ZEUS 4.0 is 27% more effective compared to the previous model. The very high needle density is achieved through a self-developed, patented voltage equalization system. The voltage equalization system prevents short-circuiting between closely spaced emitter tips.
ZEUS 4.0 increases work safety in production.
ZEUS 4.0 significantly reduces the risk of production-related electric shocks. Production processes with high friction and processes involving different materials are particularly affected. The targeted discharge of these surfaces avoids charge imbalance, enabling safe handling of wound film rolls, for example.
In addition, the ZEUS 4.0 antistatic bar is touch-safe. Thanks to its special design, the emitter tips can be touched without the risk of electric shock, contributing to increased work safety.
Faster production speeds with ZEUS 4.0.
The fast and thorough neutralization of electrostatic charge with ZEUS 4.0 allows for higher production speeds in many cases. In general, the susceptibility to interference of the affected process steps decreases, so ZEUS 4.0 can contribute to reducing scrap and improving product quality in addition to its positive impact on production speed. Common and usually inefficient auxiliary methods, such as increasing humidity, can be completely avoided in practice.
Easy integration into existing production lines
The antistatic bar is available in 18 different lengths and can be easily attached to the production line using T-slot nuts. To put the bar into operation, a simple connection to the power grid with a suitable swepro 24V power supply is sufficient. ZEUS 4.0 can also be controlled by a standard PC with a USB connection via RS232. Zeus 4.0 uses the commonly used CANopen protocol, allowing it to be controlled and monitored. When using a bus coupler, communication between ZEUS 4.0 and other common networks such as ProfiBus, ETHER NET IP, and Profi Net is possible.
Monitoring ZEUS 4.0 from anywhere
The functionality and performance of the bar can be digitally controlled from anywhere. This is possible through the easy integration into existing control systems and communication with common networks. Multiple bars from the ZEUS 4.0 series can be integrated and monitored simultaneously with minimal additional effort for monitoring the bars. In addition, the bar data can be easily integrated into reporting.
In addition to the extensive digital monitoring options, the built-in multicolor LED display at the end of the bar provides a simple and direct way to check the functionality of ZEUS 4.0. This visual element allows the on-site user to be informed about the status of the bar at any time (e.g., blue blinking = operating mode). The user is able to take appropriate measures immediately in case of deviations from the desired mode, such as cleaning the emitter tips.
